Sale has four museums and a family history group.
The Foster Street Museum is open from 1.30 pm – 4 pm each Wednesday and Sunday and is the centre for research activities.
The Water Tower is open each Saturday from 2 – 4 pm.
The Powder Magazine is open from 2 pm to 4pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.
The Railway Signal Box Museum is open from 10 – 2 on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.
The Family History group‘s rooms at 78 Macalister Street are open from 10 am to 4 pm each Friday.
