Wellington Shire Heritage Network regularly represents its members – local historical groups, halls and museums – at events such as Sale and Maffra shows and volunteer seminars.

The display at the 2023 Sale Show featured photographs of early street scenes, numerous artifacts and some horse drawn vehicles.

In 2025 at Maffra Show it focussed on the centenary of the first water from Glenmaggie Weir and, in keeping with the show theme of The Beet Goes on, provided background on the Maffra Sugar beet industry.
