Sale has three museums and offers a number of research services.
The Foster Street Museum is open from 2 pm – 4 pm each Wednesday and Sunday and is the centre for research activities. The archives include the Sale ratebooks.
The Water Tower is open each Saturday from 2 – 4 pm.
The Powder Magazine is open from 2 pm to 4pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.
